Are Bokynas suitable for wide feet?

In size 10 the Bokynas are 10cm wide. If your feet are slightly wider, they would still be suitable. But, for a wide fit, we recommend our Freedom Collection. The models from this collection are available in a special wide fit to accommodate any size foot.

Are the cords adjustable?

Yes, by shifting the side cords at the heel, the Bokynas can be made narrower.

With time, do the cords get longer?

No, the cords do not stretch or get bigger with wear. They also do not shrink. The cords on the Bokynas keep their shape.

How thick is the sole?

The sole is 2 cm thick at the back of the heel and 1 cm thick at the front.  

Are they suitable for long walks?

Absolutely! Bokynas are comfortable to wear even on long distances. The cords are very soft and do not rub. The sole is flexible and there is a contour on the sole which provides good grip.

Do I have a good grip in the Bokynas?

Yes, you have good grip in the Bokynas. The cords fit well to the foot, so you don't slip around. The sole is also contoured which prevents slipping. 

How can I clean the Bokynas?

The Bokynas are colourfast and can be washed by hand with warm water and soap.

How long is the delivery time?

Orders are usually shipped on the next business day. The standard delivery time is 2-6 business days and express delivery in 1-2 business days to Australia, and 4-8 business days to New Zealand, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

How does an exchange work?

You are welcome to exchange your Bokynas for a different size or colour. However, we do not offer direct exchanges for logistical reasons. Simply return your order and place a new order with the desired size or colour.

Please note, the same conditions apply as with a normal return!

How does a return work?

You can cancel your purchase up to 30 days after receipt of the goods. You can do the revocation simply by sending us an email to au@bokyna.com and telling us the reason for the return. We cannot send you a return label. Unfortunately, you have to pay the costs for the return. 

In order to apply for a return, the returned product must:

– Be returned within 30 days of delivery.
– Be unworn and returned in original condition.
– Have all tags and plastic stickers attached.
– Include the original packaging along with the original cotton bag used to protect the sandals in undamaged condition.

If returned properly, your money will be refunded within 7 days to the payment method you used for the purchase. 

Where are the Bokynas produced?

Our Bokynas are handmade by skilled artisans in Thailand.

Is it possible to buy Bokynas in a shop?

No, at least not right now. We are a 100% online retailer but sign up to our newsletter and we will keep you informed of any stores which will stock Bokynas in the future.
